How did you get into mindfulness and why did you stick with it?
What role does mindfulness play in your life?

What initially fascinated me about mindfulness was that regular practice changes the brain and consciousness in such a way that life feels more beautiful and happier. What a promise! Through very drastic life changes, I then learned that mindfulness goes much deeper.

Mindfulness is not psychotherapy, but it is highly therapeutic for me. In the meantime, I have gotten to know different currents, attended silent retreats and further training and am still fascinated by its strengthening and healing power.

What is your motivation/purpose for your work as a MOMENTUM trainer?

As a MOMENTUM trainer, I am able to accompany people on their journey to greater self-efficacy. I have the opportunity to give them an insight into a way of thinking and perceiving that has changed my life so positively. MOMENTUM offers a wonderfully easy introduction, and every person who is curious and interested takes away something enriching - both in their professional and private lives.

As a MOMENTUM trainer, where do you most clearly see the importance and effectiveness of mindfulness training for companies?

In the courses, I see again and again how participants change their perspective on problems and find a better way of dealing with difficulties (e.g., time pressure, uncertainty, conflicts in the team). They then report on their successes, beaming with joy, and this inspires and motivates the whole group.

If teams really want to become more resilient, a shared course experience can be incredibly transformative and powerful.

What do you think makes the MOMENTUM program unique?

MOMENTUM offers an introduction to mindfulness for individuals who have had no prior experience with it or who may approach the topic with skepticism. The scientifically grounded content is presented in a clear and accessible manner.

The exercises are engaging and easy to integrate. This allows participants to experience the benefit of the practices, effectiveness, and mindsets within a short time. All of this takes place in an open, interactive, and enjoyable setting, guided by highly experienced trainers.
